Is your school up for the challenge?
Each year we host the Winter Weekends Activity Challenge for Schools. Year 7, 8, 9 and 10 students from schools across the UK compete against each other in a host of outdoor adventures to become Activity Challenge champions.

More than a trophy
It’s great fun, and your students will get so much more from it than they might imagine.
Challenges are designed with outdoor learning in mind, to help young people:
- Improve communication and teamwork skills
- Try new and challenging activities
- Develop problem-solving skills
- Become more resilient
- Gain leadership skills
- Adapt to new environments and situations

2024 Pricing per team entry
£999 per team (which equates to £99 per student). 1 teacher per group goes free. No discounts for less students in the team.
Price includes Friday evening meal to Sunday lunch, 2 nights in shared accommodation and activities.
How it works
There are up to ten members in each team, and schools may enter as many teams as they wish.
Friday evening
Schools arrive and receive an introduction to the Activity Challenge weekend programme.
Saturday and Sunday
Teams take on a range of water and land-based challenges in a bid to win points.
Sunday afternoon
The points are added up. At the presentation ceremony on the last weekend, the team with the most points is crowned Activity Challenge champion!
