Mahdlo Youth Group joined us for a residential at YMCA Lakeside. It was a visit filled with multiple outdoor activities, including: climbing, canoeing, hiking, archery, and zip lining. The young people who participated on residential developed their confidence and life skills. They had the opportunity to interact with peers they may not have spoken with before, which gave them a different perspective. The activities built their resilience and despite some setbacks during the week, the young people were willing to try everything and bounced back.
